Ribera del Duero is one of Spain's most prestigious red wine regions — Tempranillo (locally called Tinto Fino) reaches its powerful, structured peak here. The nose offers ripe blackberry, dark cherry, plum, sweet tobacco, vanilla from oak, and warm spice.
