From the steep red-slate Erdener Treppchen vineyard, this 2007 Spätlese has aged beautifully into mature complexity. The nose offers honeyed white peach, dried apricot, beeswax, petrol notes typical of mature Riesling, and slate minerality. The palate is medium-bodied with the residual sweetness balanced by Mosel's signature racing acidity, and a long mineral finish.
