Sagrantino is one of Italy's most tannic and structured indigenous reds — uniquely concentrated from the volcanic soils of Montefalco in Umbria. The nose offers ripe blackberry, dark cherry, dried herbs, sweet tobacco, and warm spice. The palate is full-bodied with massive but ripe tannins, layered concentration, and a remarkably long finish — 4.2 Stars Vivino, 94 Luca Maroni, 91 Wine Spectator.
