Quercegobbe is Petra's Merlot-dominant cuvée from a single vineyard parcel. The nose offers ripe black plum, dark cherry, sweet tobacco, and a layer of cocoa from oak ageing. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with ripe tannins, dark fruit concentration, and a long savory finish. Polished and powerful — 92 James Suckling, 92 Wine Enthusiast, 92 Vinous.
