Ripasso is the 'baby Amarone' โ Valpolicella refermented on the dried grape skins of Amarone production for added richness. In magnum format, the wine ages with extra grace. The nose offers ripe red and dark cherry, plum, dried herbs, and warm spice. The palate is medium-full with smooth tannins, ripe fruit, and a long savory finish.
