Blauschiefer (blue slate) Riesling Trocken from Weingut Kerpen on the Mosel. The famous blue-slate soils impart a distinctive minerality. The nose offers fresh citrus, white peach, white flowers, and a wet-stone mineral note. The palate is medium-bodied with bright acidity, clean fruit, and a long mineral finish — pure dry German Riesling — 91 Falstaff.
