Marchesi Gondi
Tenuta Bossi, owned by the Gondi family since 1592, has always been famous for its wine. Located in the wooded hills northeast of Florence, in the heart of Chianti Rufina, a wine-growing area famous since Etruscan times. This gem is located in a wine-growing valley, among the hills 18 km from Florence, between200 and 400 meters above sea level. The estate covers 315 hectares, of which 19 hectares are vineyards and 32 are olive groves, as well as cereals and woods. The family has believed in the territory in which this reality is immersed, Chianti Rufina, which makes the wine produced here unique and recognizable. The current owners, the 25th generation of winemakers at Tenuta Bossi, are Marchese Bernardo Gondi and his sister Donatella assisted by Bernardo's sons Gerardo and Lapo. They continue the family tradition by trying to maintain what their ancestors have always done, preserving the integrity and beauty of the environment in which the estate is set and continuing the philosophy that has always distinguished Tenuta Bossi: the continuous search for the highest quality of products.
