Barolo Chinato is a traditional Piedmontese aromatized wine, made by infusing Barolo with chinchona bark, gentian root, rhubarb, and a complex mix of botanicals. The nose offers warm spice, bitter herbs, dried orange peel, and dark berries. The palate is rich and complex, with the structured base of Barolo balanced by bittersweet herbal notes and a long savory finish. A traditional digestif of remarkable character.
