From the Gaiole subregion, this Gran Selezione shows Sangiovese typicity in spades — sour cherry, blood orange, raspberry, rose petal, soil, and barrel tar. The mouthfeel is almost Brunello-like with depth and creaminess, fine-grained tannins, and a long elegant finish.
